Margie L. (Perry) Harris, 84, Anderson died Sept. 2, 2015 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus after an extended illness.
She was born Nov. 2, 1930 in Wise, Virginia to Sylvester and Hattie (Hortense) Perry.
She was owner and operator of a furniture business in Muncie.
She lived in Muncie until 1986, when she moved to Anderson, where she was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
She was member and president of the Blind Association in Anderson since the loss of her eyesight.
Survivors include her son, Phillip (Mary) Harris; sister, Mildred (Elmer) Hughes of Wise, Virginia; two granddaughters, Sarah Harris and Lindsey Harris; four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J. B. Harris and her four brothers, Ralph, Earl, Bill and Ed Perry.
Family services will be held at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.
