WORCESTER-Mary C. Moynihan, 69, formerly of Mt. Hope Terrace died Saturday, May 21 in Sandalwood Nursing Home, Oxford.
She leaves a brother, Daniel J. Moynihan of Shrewsbury, several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Thomas J. Moynihan and Francis X. Moynihan predeceased her
She was born in Worcester daughter of Daniel J. and Mary T. (Ford) Moynihan and graduated from St. Peter’s High School and Worcester State College with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Education. Mary was a former schoolteacher in the West Boylston school system.
The funeral will be Tuesday, May 24 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME. 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. on the morning of the funeral.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
