Gilford-----Susan Renee Jesseman, age 63, died peacefully on September 4, 2015 at home surrounded by her family in Gilford NH, after a determined fight with cancer. Renee was born February 1st, 1952, in Staten Island N.Y., the daughter of Elwin J. Millette and Elaine F. (Gilman) Millette. Renee was born and raised in Laconia, NH and graduated from Laconia High School.
Renee was the Administrative Assistant at the Belmont Fire Department, prior to retiring earlier due to her illness. Prior to working at the department full time, she was a volunteer EMTI for many years. Renee enjoyed spending her summers with her friends and family at camp. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, long walks on the beach searching for sea shells and playing with her grandchildren. Renee was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others; She was known as “mom” and “grammy” to many.
Renee is survived by her husband Michael C. Jesseman, daughters Christine J. Jesseman of Laconia and Heidi Beaulieu-Jesseman of Northfield; son in-law Steve Beaulieu and four grandchildren, Gabrielle Guyer, Kaitlyn Carey, Trevor Dion, and Alison Beaulieu. In addition Renee is survived by her 6 brothers and sisters, Michael J. Millette of Gilmanton, Ernest G. Millette of Belmont, John E. Millette of North Carolina, Linda J. Joyal of Morrisonville, N.Y., Sharon Lee McQuarrie of Belmont and Donna Gail Millette of Laconia and many loving nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives.
Calling hours will be held on Friday September 11, 2015 from 3:00-6:00 P.M. at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH, using the carriage house entrance.
A Celebration of Life will follow the calling hours from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Laconia Post #1670, 143 Court Street, Laconia, N.H.
Continue celebrating with the family by joining them at the Pitmans Freight Room, 94 New Salem Street, Laconia N.H. to watch one of Renee’s favorite musicians Ben Knight.
