FRANCES CHRISTINE FOWLER, 98, passed away on September 7, 2015.
She was a retired teacher for Jefferson County Public Schools where she taught for 30 years at Medora Elementary, and a member of Wellman Memorial Wesleyan Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bessie Fowler; her brothers, John, Warren, Walter and Donald Fowler, and her sister, Doris Cornell.
Survivors include her sister, Murna DePhillips; brother, Charles Fowler (Joyce); nieces, Sherry Free, Sandy Wall and Missy Fowler; and nephews, Ken Fowler, Tony DePhillips, Dennis Cornell and Don Fowler.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Cox’s Creek, KY.
Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m. Wednesday.
