Paul R. Fournier, 67 of Charlton, MA formerly of Millbury died Wednesday September 2, 2015 at home after a short illness.
He leaves his mother Eileen Fournier of Worcester, his ex-wife/partner of 48 years Veronica Sloat, his sons Pat of TN, Scott and his wife Heather of Brookfield, MA, Al and his girlfriend Sam of NC, Jamie and his fiancé Erin of Spencer MA, Tom and his wife Cindy of Ludlow MA, stepson Jack of ILL. His two sisters Sandy of VA, and Eileen Vostok and her husband Gary of Holden MA, eight grandkids Korey, Nathen, Kylii, Victoria, Carly, Melody, Cody and Arabella. One great grandchild Neveah. Many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Rocky. He is predeceased by his father Paul Fournier, and 3 granddaughters.
Paul worked at GM in Framingham for 22 years before the plant closed in 1988. After he did a variety of welding and maintenance jobs before retiring in 2012. Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching NASCAR and old westerns. He also enjoyed spending time at the family camp in Maine.
Per Paul’s wishes there will be no calling hours and burial will be private. Special thanks to Megan and her Hospice team for the great love and support they showed during Paul’s short illness.
The Robert J. Miller-Charlton Funeral Home, 175 Old Worcester Rd., is assisting the family with arrangements.
