Wendell “Paul” Ashley, 74, passed away Monday September 7, 2015 at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born in Grayson County, KY to Robert W. & Ruby (Embry) Ashley.
Paul was a retired Route Salesman for Frito Lay Co., with 40 plus years service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marilyn (Flener)Ashley and a brother: Buddy Gene Ashley.
Survivors include his daughter: Wendi Ashley Varble (Travis); a granddaughter: Lauren Ashley Varble;
2 step grandchildren: Brooke Lindsey and Austin Tyler Atkinson and 3 step great grandchildren;
3 brothers: Edward (Wretha), Kendall (Sharlet) and Patrick Ashley (Alice); a sister: Peggy Morris; several nieces & nephews, and many many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in St. Andrews Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday 2 – 8 PM and Thursday 10AM – 1 PM
