Stephany M. (Jankauskas) Fleming, age 88 of Lawrence passed away on September 5, 2015 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center. Stephany was born on March 25, 1927 in Lawrence to the late Joseph and Scholastica (Ruplis) Jankauskas. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1944. Stephany worked at Western Electric for many years. Stephany loved taking trips, playing bingo, going out for a good meal and going to the movies. She was a very dedicated mother and grandmother. Stephany was very proud of her Lithuanian heritage.
Stephany was the beloved wife of the late John F. Fleming. She was the devoted mother of Patricia A. Fleming of Lawrence, John F. Fleming Jr. of Dracut, Michael J. Fleming and his wife Diane of Derry, NH, Stephen P. Fleming and his wife Grace of Bolton and Kathleen M. Fleming of Acton. Stephany was the loving grandmother of Meredith, Caroline, Caitlin, Shannon, Patrick and Jake. She was also the cherished great grandmother of Darguin Jr.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Monica’s Parish of Methuen. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence.
