Judith A. (Morrison) Murray, age 66, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, died peacefully, September 6, 2015 at home, surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of David J. Murray. Born in Middleboro and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Grace E. (Marvel) Morrison. Judy was a graduate of Brockton High School and received her Associates Degree in Early Education from Quincy College. She truly enjoyed the 18 years that she spent as a pre-school teacher at the Head Start Program in Brockton. Because she was loving and family centered, she created a close knit family and she was happiest while spending time with them.
In addition to her husband of 45 years, she is survived by a daughter Jennifer Silva and her husband John of East Bridgewater; two grandchildren Jesse Murray and Jack Silva; two sisters Mary Pentz and her husband Paul Brockton, and Laura Morrison of Lakeville, a brother Allen Morrison of Brockton, many nieces and nephews and great and great great nieces and nephews and two sisters-in-law Marlene Morrison and Lenir Morrison. She was the sister of the late Paul and Roy Morrison.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday 5-8pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Friday at 8am for a funeral Mass at Christ the King Parish at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
