Gloria R. M. Dunton 72, of St. Joseph St. formerly of St. Germain Manor died Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Landmark Medical Center. She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Francis and Germaine (Guillette) Dunton. Gloria was a secretary for Royal Robes, Narragansett Knitting Co. and The Dennison Co. in Framingham. Gloria was an active member and volunteer at All Saints Parish. Gloria was very artistic and creative, she was an avid knitter, and crafter. She loved animals, especially her cats.
Gloria is survived by her son Gregory Dunton of Woonsocket, a sister Marcy Sheeley of Harrisville, a brother Francis Dunton Jr. of Florida, a granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Charles Dunton and Muriel Roberts.
A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial is private.
