Obituary

Ralph J. “Red” Peckham, 79, of Walpole, died September 5 in the Charlwell House in Norwood. He was the husband of the late Louise A. (Sarro) Peckham who died last September.
Born in Boston, February 29, 1936, Mr. Peckham had lived in Norwood before moving to Walpole where he had lived for over 50 years.
Mr. Peckham had been a member of the Laborers Union Local 138 for many years.
Red enjoyed collectables, especially stamps collecting and baseball cards. He also enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his children, Ralph Peckham, Jr. of Edgartown, Mark Peckham of Plainville and Valentine MacEachern and her husband David of Plainville.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kelly MacEachern and Marina Peckham.
He is also survived by his brother Charles MacDonald and his wife Nancy of Blackstone.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 10 in the Ginley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 892 Main Street, Walpole at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
