Geneva Wilson Hill, 76, of Tifton passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015, in her home after a long battle with cancer. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Rev. Josh Campbell officiating. Ms. Hill will be laid to rest at Hickory Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, September 7, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Bryant Hill, Kent Hill, Houston Hill, James Green, Mark Watson and Larry Cushions will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Freeman, Mo Upshaw, Betty Jenkins, Gloria Ross and Kerri Kendrick.
Mrs. Hill was born February 15, 1939 to Mary Louise Gibbs Wilson and Reid Andrew Wilson, Sr., both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Ronald Hill; her second husband, Bobby Clifford Freeman; and a brother, Stanley Gibbs Wilson.
Mrs. Hill had a two-year degree from ABAC in early childhood education. She owned and operated Circle H Riding Academy in Tifton. For 15 years, she taught horseback riding lessons to area children, where she helped influence their development and growth.
Mrs. Hill had a strong Christian faith and belief in Jesus Christ, which she bestowed on her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and supporter of John Hagee Ministries. She will be sorely missed by her family. However, they are comforted with the knowledge that she is rejoicing in heaven and will be seen again.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her children and their spouses, Kenny and Jill Hill, Greg and Rhonda Hill, Rodney and Carolyn Hill, Jeff and Traci Hill and Alicia and Dewey Smith; one brother and sister-in-law, Reid Jr. and Carolyn Wilson; and her grandchildren, Bryant Hill, Kent Hill, Brandi Hill, Jessica Watson and husband Robbie, Blair Hill, Houston Hill, Logan Hill, Annalee Smith and Macy Hill.
