DAUWER, Marion T. (Burns) Of Needham, September 4, 2015. Beloved wife of Leo P. Dauwer for 61 years. Loving and devoted mother of Sister Ellen Dauwer, SC of Newark, NJ, Margaret T. Powers and her husband John of Needham, Maureen A. Motchok and her husband Douglas of Needham, and Paul J. Dauwer and his wife Karyn of Duxbury. Loving grandmother of Jay, Elizabeth, Meg, Julie, Patrick, Caitlin, Colleen and Joey. Sister of the late Margaret E. Burns and Rev. William J. Burns.
Marion was a graduate of Emmanuel College, Class of 1947 and former School Teacher in the Newton School System. Active parishioner of St. Bartholomew's Church.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 9:00am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham at 10:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Monday, Sept. 7 from 3:00-7:00pm. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham.
