Helen E. Guzowski, 82, of Manchester, NH passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. She was born on November 29, 1932 in Chelsea, MA, a daughter of the late David and Laura Mae (Cameron) Babcock. Helen was a bus driver for the Derry and Londonderry School systems for many years. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and more recently enjoyed trips to Foxwoods. Her greatest joy was the time spent with her family. If her family was happy, Helen was happy.
She is survived by her two daughters, Debra Plourde of Manchester and June Chasse and her husband John of Ormond Beach, FL, one son, Edward Guzowski of Londonderry, five grandchildren, Thomas Makepeace and his wife Noudeng, Jake Gagnon, Joshua Chasse, Jimmy Guzowski and Karlee Guzowski; two sisters, Anna Aiken of Plum Island, MA and Bebe Stankey of WA, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Guzowski in 2012.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 7, 2015 from 4 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 8th at 12:00pm in the funeral home with burial to follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry, NH.
