Robert M. Fisher age 50 of Brockton, died Thursday September 3, 2015 at Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health. He was the devoted son of Ron and Tina Lawson. Robert was born in Boston and raised in Avon and was a 1985 graduate of Avon High School. For the past 2 years he had resided at The Campello High Rise, 1380 Main Street and previously for many years at Manning Towers, 45 Goddard Road.
In his free time, Robert enjoyed gaming and watching wrestling especially Wrestlemania. He will be remembered as a quiet, mild mannered and caring man who enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents Robert is survived by a sister Tracey Fisher of Boston and a brother Timothy Lawson and his wife Carey of Brockton. He leaves 4 nieces and nephews; Michael Fisher and Alysia, Mya and Marcus Lawson and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Robert was the longtime and devoted companion of the late Stephanie Silverman.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (rte. 123) Brockton on Wednesday 10-11am. Funeral service at 11am followed by placement of his urn in Forest Hills Columbarium.
