Obituary

Mrs. Anita (Brouillette) Desrosiers, of Taunton, died Tuesday, September 1 in the Life Care Center of Raynham following a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Desrosiers. She was born 96 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Michael J. and Emelia (Bourdeau) Brouillette. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Anita enjoyed gardening and canning. She was a communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Parish in Taunton.
She leaves: 5 sons: Louis Desrosiers of Largo, Fla., Roger Desrosiers of Attleboro, Paul Desrosiers of Attleboro, George Desrosiers of Springhill, Fla., and Mark Desrosiers of Taunton; 5 daughters: Joyce Kaloust of Naples, Fla., Jeanne Russell of Newington, N.H., Shirley Corrao of E.Taunton, Arlene Desrosiers of Portsmouth, N.H., and Audrey Fernandes of E.Taunton; 26 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Anita was also the sister of the late Teddy, Gilbert, George, Henry, Irene, Cecile and Adrian Brouillette, and Eva Roy.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street on Saturday, September 5 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
