Moore and the late Robert C. Moore; brother of Sandra Hewes, Marilyn “Merri” Forrester, Joseph Moore, Steven “Al” Moore and Patricia Ricci; devoted companion of Patricia Simanski.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Sunday 3-7pm with a Prayer Service at 6:30pm. Following cremation a memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Donations in Dick’s name may be made to the American Lung Association, 1 Abby Lane, Middleboro, MA 02346

Mr. Moore died Thursday at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Brockton he was the son of the late Gordon Hammond Moore and M. Barbara (O’Connor) Moore. He attended Brockton schools and was the proprietor of various small businesses in the Brockton area. He was a member of the IBEW, volunteered at the Brockton VA Medical Center, and various correctional facilities, was an automobile enthusiast, enjoyed playing cards, fishing, skiing, dining out and especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by one daughter, Tammy M. O’Connor and her husband Tom of Raynham, Richard G. “Manny” Moore, Jr. and his wife Valerie of Brockton, Alan J. Moore of New Bedford; 6 grandchildren, three sisters Sandra Hewes, Marilyn “Merri” Forrester and Patricia Ricci, two brothers Joseph Moore and Steven “Al” Moore, his companion Patricia Simanski and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Robert C. Moore.
