Mary Irene Turvin, 88, formerly of Cranston, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 in Bayberry Commons. She was the widow of Robert M. Turvin.
Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Mariano and Maria (Ramos) DaSilva. She had been employed as a stenographer for the State of Rhode Island. She was a faithful communicant of St. Mark’s Church in Cranston.
She is survived by her step-son, Robert Turvin, her brother, Roderick DaSilva and her sister, Hilda DaSilva, both of North Providence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 4th at 11:00 am in St. Joseph’s Church, Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston.
