Mr. Gerhard K. Weipert, of Taunton, died Sunday, August 30 in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Jean I. (Riendeau) Weipert. He was born 82 years ago in Germany and had been a Taunton area resident for the past 40 years. Prior to his retirement, Gerhard had been employed as an auto body technician for several area auto companies. He enjoyed playing pool, beanball and bingo at the Pinehill Estates in Raynham.
He leaves: a stepdaughter: Jeanie Monahan and her husband, Ray, of Taunton, and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
