Robert W. Gosselin, 81, of Franklin, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Molloy) Gosselin for the past 61 years.
Born in North Smithfield, Rhode Island on September 19, 1933, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Flora (Rousseau) Gosselin.
Mr. Gosselin was a resident of Franklin for most of his life.
Before his retirement, he worked at Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School for ten years and had previously worked for General Motors for many years.
Mr. Gosselin loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three children Cheryl Doe and her husband Jonathan, Robert Gosselin and his wife Denise and Lori Gervais and her husband Michael, all of Franklin.
He is also survived by six grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Jared, Lindsay, Michelle and Bobby, Jr., two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Lacey and his brother-in-law Francis Molloy and his wife Denise of Franklin.
He was the brother of the late Edgar Gosselin.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service on Wednesday, September 2 at 10 a.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street in Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 9 – 10 a.m.
Burial will take place privately in St. Mary Cemetery at a later date.
