Dianne M. (Brennan) Driscoll, a longtime resident of Medford passed away, unexpectedly on Thursday morning, August 27, 2015. She was 71 years old.
Born in Medford, Massachusetts, on January 8, 1944, she was the beloved daughter of the late John F. and Genevieve (Harney) Brennan. Mrs. Driscoll was employed as a Bookkeeper for many years at Boston University Bookstore Distribution Center. She was a well loved Foster Mother to very many children over the years. Dianne loved animals and was an avid Boston Sports Fan. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving children; Daniel R. Driscoll of Gloucester, Diane E. Driscoll of Medford and her boyfriend David Cordray of N. Berwick, Maine and Thomas F. Driscoll and his husband Christopher J. Mullin of Easton, devoted sister; Maureen and her husband Samuel Marino of Beverly, cherished grandson; Shawn Thomas Driscoll-Gomez, dear friend; Barbara Nesmith of Medford, former husband; Thomas F. Driscoll, Sr. of Lyman, Maine and nieces and nephews; Virginia, Jeff, Michael, Matthew and Robert. Dianne was also the sister of the late Raymond Brennan and Carole Curtis.
Her funeral will be held from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 9AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford at 10AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
