Janice L. (Booker) Farrell, 79, of Worcester, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 27th in Brookside Nursing Center, Webster. Her husband, Francis J. Farrell, Jr. passed away in 2002. She leaves two sons, Francis J. Farrell, III of Worcester and Steven M. Farrell and his wife Gayle of Grafton; a daughter, Lisa A. Richer and her husband Craig of Springfield; a brother, Bradford Booker and his wife Ellen of East Granby, CT; two grandchildren, Bernard Gendron and Marissa Gendron; a great granddaughter, Kailey Gendron; and nephews and nieces.
She was born in Norwich, CT, the daughter of Preston A. and Esther (Feldon) Booker and lived here for many years. She enjoyed bowling, and at one time bowled in the High Nooner’s Bowling League at AMF Lanes in Auburn.
The funeral is Tuesday, September 1st, with a service at 11:00 A.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Monday, August 31st in the funeral home.
