In Taunton, August 27, 2015 Lena L. (Nolet) Travers, Age 92, passed away at home following a lengthy illness. Lena was the wife of the late Francis “Frank” Travers. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Louis & Leona (Gagnon) Nolet. Lena has resided all her life in Taunton. She was employed at the former Paul E. Dever State School as a cook. Lena enjoyed playing bingo, she loved her dogs and cherished her time with family and friends. She leaves her loving son Ronald Travers and his husband Kevin Martin of Taunton and her late son Francis Travers. Lena also leaves her grandson Michael Travers and his wife Katie of Vermont. She was preceded in death by her siblings Dora Masterson, Violet Trucchi, Peter Nolet and Morris Nolet. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, August 31st at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 2-4 pm. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
