Timothy E. Keen, Jr.
Martinez, GA – Mr. Timothy E. Keen, Jr., (Tim) 40, entered into rest Sunday, August 23, 2015.
Tim was a native of Charleston, SC but has lived in Martinez for most of his life. He was a 1993 graduate of Lakeside High School and earned an Associate Degree from Augusta Technical School in Marketing. Prior to becoming Performance Manager for the South Georgia Region of YP, he was owner of Advanced Home Security in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a natural born leader who enjoyed helping others advance in their professions.
Family members include his daughters: Madalynn and Ashley Keen; mother: Kathleen Fulmer Bethards and husband Daniel; father: Timothy E. Keen, Sr.; brother: Russell Thomas Keen and wife Karen; sister: Heather M. Keen; nieces: Isabella and Kaleigh Keen; and nephew: Brinson Keen; special friend: Shannon Land.
Tim was a dedicated father who loved being with his daughters and family. He enjoyed life to its fullest…snow skiing, boating, fishing and singing karaoke. He particularly enjoyed a good game of table tennis with co-workers and friends. Tim was scheduled to be initiated as a member of Elks Lodge 205 in Augusta, Georgia on September 3, 2015.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at 11A.M., at Stevens Creek Community Church, 600 Stevens Creek Road, Augusta, GA, with Rev. Dave Willis officiating. The family will receive friends at 10 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the “Madalynn and Ashley Keen Education Fund,” Georgia Bank and Trust, 3530 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30909.
