A Sister of Charity (Halifax) for 74 years who was missioned in New York, New Jersey, Quebec, Dartmouth, Lourdes and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Locally at Academy of the Assumption, Wellesley, St. Margaret’s, Dorchester and Mt. St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills. Beloved daughter of the late John and Josephine (Goeugeon) Ryan. Sister of the late Rev. Gabriel Ryan S.J., John Ryan, Jane Welch, and J. Virginia Ryan. Aunt of Mary Louise Ryan, Jane Welch, Barbara Welch-Mikus and her husband Edward, and Gabriel Ryan Welch M.D., also survived by several grandnieces and nephews, and her former student John Malarky. Visiting hours at Mt. St. Vincent, 125 Oakland St. Wellesley Hills on Friday August 25 from 9:30 - 10:30 am with a prayer at 10:15 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:45 am.
