Warren R. Odgren, 82, of 6 Montague St. died Tuesday, May 17, in the Jewish Healthcare Center. His wife of 50 years, Margaret M. (McCartin) Odgren died in 1998. He leaves two sons, Edward J. and his wife, Janet Odgren of No. Oxford and Robert W. and his wife, Deborah Odgren of Oxford; five daughters, Ruth E. Odgren of Longmeadow, Elizabeth A. and her husband, Phillip Adamski of San Diego, CA, Judith M. and her husband, Jeffrey Coffey of Worcester, Mary Ellen and her husband, Stephen Kayer of Worcester and Patricia M. and her husband, Kenneth Duquette of Oxford; a brother, Raymond Odgren of Auburn; thirteen grandchildren, Shawn and Christine Coffey, Michael and Brian Plouffe, Jill, Jennifer and Justin Odgren, Kaithlyn and Joseph Kayer, Lindsey and Jonathan Odgren, and Joanna and Jordanne Adamski; three great-grandchildren, Mykenzie Lee Carlsen, Brayden Decker and Caydence Plouffe; and nieces and nephews. He was born in Auburn, son of John and Emma (Holm) Odgren and was an Army Veteran of WWII serving in Italy and North Africa.

Warren was an inspector for Norton Company for many years, before retiring. He was a member of St. Peter’s Church and its Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the Knights of Columbus, Alhambra Council #88 and its senior golf league, the Main South American Legion Post #341, he was a volunteer for the S.H.A.R.E. Food Program, and former coach for the O’Brien Little League and former scout master for over 30 years for the Boys Scouts Troop #28. He was an avid golfer and Red Sox fan.

The funeral will be held Friday, May 20, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling Hours are Thursday, May 19, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul c/o St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main St. Worcester, 01610, or to the Boys Scout Troop #28 c/o of St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main St., Worcester, 01610.
