Emily Witham of Charlestown NH, beloved wife of Charlie Witham, died at home on August 22, 2015, surrounded by their family. Born on November 20, 1931 in New York, NY to Rogelio Padilla Ramírez and Emilia Morales Alves, she was the mother of Francisco "Frankie" Pagán of Añasco, Puerto Rico; Nancy Ferrer-Tatkowska (Witold Tatkowski) of Merrimack, NH; and Steven Ferrer Padilla (Timothy Groves) of Cambridge, MA. Baptized at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, New York, NY, she lived and worked in New York until 44 years of age, when she moved to Manchester, NH. In 1990, she met Charlie Witham, whom she subsequently married on September 17, 1995. They lived in Claremont, Croydon, Grantham and lastly Charlestown, NH, where they spent eleven wonderful years cultivating their garden, caring for their pets, working on projects and entertaining family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charlie Witham, her three children, four step-children, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews.
Interment will be at Willis Cemetery in Dummer, NH on Sunday, August 30 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to David's House, PO Box 660, Lebanon, NH 03766. The Bryant Funeral in Berlin is in charge of the arrangements.
