Alice Lucille Hutto Lott, age 79 of the Holt community in Irwin County, died Friday, August 21, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, August 24, 2015 at Union Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Philip Smith and Elder Edward McIntyre officiating. Interment will follow in church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 PM, Sunday evening, August 23, 2015 at The Paulk Funeral Home in Ocilla, Georgia.
Mrs. Lott was born July 6, 1936 in Irwin County, Georgia to the late, Floyd and Lillie Griffin Hutto. Lucille was a former employee of Dessa’s Dress Shop in Nashville and Belk’s in Fitzgerald. She was a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church in Coffee County.
Survivors include: a son, Lamar Jowers and wife Debbie of Gainesville, Georgia, Teresa J. Sumner and husband Bill of Holt Community, Belinda J. Williams and husband Scott of Bassett, Virginia; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three step sons: Glenn Lott and wife Patsy of Holt Community, Jeff Lott of Fitzgerald and Tim Lott and wife Karen of Holt Community; one sister, Katherine H. Barrett of Tifton and several nieces and nephews also survive. Her husband, Cleon Lott, three brothers and one sister preceded Mrs. Lott in death.
