Charles "Sonny" Languirand, 62, of North Adams, MA died August 19, 2015 at Tufts Medical Center after a long illness.
He was the husband of the late Pauline M. (Poitras) Languirand.
Born in Cambridge, the son of the late Albert P. and Muriel E. (Patten) Languirand, he lived in New Bedford before moving to North Adams.
Survivors include 2 daughters, April Languirand of Adams, MA and Kathy Languirand and her companion Rick Trottier of North Adams, MA; a brother, Paul Languirand and his wife Denise of Barrington, RI; a granddaughter, Kelsey Trottier; and 3 nephews.
His Funeral will be held on Monday, August 24th at 8 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by his Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 9 AM. Burial with follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday, August 23rd 3-6 PM.
