Genslinger, Steven C., Sr., 71, died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 of injuries received in a motorcycle accident in June.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a Kentucky Colonel and an American Legion Shawnee Post member.
Preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mayme Genslinger; a brother, Larry, and his daughter, Dawn Elizabeth.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Carolyn; his sons, Stevie, Jr. (Tina) and Jimmy; his grandchildren, Dax Raney, Mike Langdon, Lisa, Whitney, Perry, and his Texas Tornadoes, Steven III and Seth Genslinger; six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday.
