Beverly Ann Laferriere, 80, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Hebert Nursing Home, Smithfield, RI. She was born in Central Falls on January 22, 1935. She was the youngest and last surviving child of Samuel and Anna (Canavan) Moss.
She is survived by her children: Michael Laferriere, and his wife Jeanne, of Johnston, Laurie Tapozada of Johnston, James Laferriere of Virginia and Thomas Laferriere of Smithfield; her ten grandchildren and her great granddaughter.
Over her lifetime, she was a homemaker, avid reader, union organizer and totally devoted to her children and their families.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial is planned for Acote’s Cemetery, Chepachet.
