Smokey Rulon died unexpectedly on August 5, 2015. He was born on March 9, 1959 to Phillip J. Rulon and Elisabeth S. (Sherman) Rulon.
He is survived by his children Justin, Shea and Kate Rulon of Milton, Massachusetts, two brothers and two nieces. He also leaves behind a large extended family and circle of friends.
Smokey was a gifted dental technician whose work was well known in the industry. He was also an accomplished skier and sailor. He was a welcome friend at Cannon Mountain during ski season. During the Summer months, he was a reliable companion and guide to sailors and enthusiasts in Westport, MA and other sailing venues. His children carry on his love for the mountains and the sea.
Smokey was an organ donor, others can honor his life by following his example.
Family and friends will hold a private celebration for him.
