Worcester- Edward F. Marcelonis Sr., 63, of 7 Conger Rd., died Sunday, May 15, at home after an illness.
He leaves four sons, Edward F. Marcelonis Jr. and his wife Lynn, Stephen M. Marcelonis, and Michael E. LaPrade, all of Worcester, and Derek Marcelonis and his wife Michelle of Webster; a daughter, Lisa A. Anger and her husband David of Worcester; two brothers, Donald Marcelonis of Ocala, Florida and Raymond Krakowski of Worcester; a sister, Dorothy LaRose of Auburn; six grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Edward Krakowski and Victoria Marcelonis and lived here all his life.
Mr. Marcelonis was a machine operator at Dienes Corporation, Spencer, retiring in 2004.
He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports and truly enjoyed his family.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 19, in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
