Virginia M. Jones, 86, of Sanbornton, NH, died Thursday, May 12, 2005 in the Franklin Regional Hospital in Franklin, NH. Mrs. Jones was born in Natick, MA on April 18, 1919, a daughter of the late Frederick and Helena (Costello) Williams. She was a resident of Sanbornton for the past three years, formerly living in Chester, NH for 33 years. She enjoyed reading and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by two sons, Robert P. Jones of Henniker, NH, Francis J. Jones of Bumpass, VA, two daughters, Kathleen M. Felix of Brooklyn, NY, Joanne M. Boyce of Sanbornton, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister, Cynthia O'Shea of Enfield, CT, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph T. Jones who died in 2004 and her son Kevin G. Jones who died in 1999.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 16th at 10:00am in St. Paul's Church, Main St., Candia, NH. The burial will follow in the Great Hill Cemetery in Chester. Friends may call on Sunday from 6 - 8pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH.
