DONALDSON, Marion, 94, of Smithfield, RI passed away peacefully at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence, RI on August 15, 2015
Marion is survived by her children, Margaret (Ernest) Heroux, Elizabeth (Richard) Comella, both of Smithfield, RI and Alistair (Peggy) Donaldson of Providence, RI; her eleven grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Born in Scotland, she is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret Pollock; her husband, Andrew S. Donaldson; her son, Andrew S Donaldson, Jr.
Marion was one of the founding members of the Smithfield AARP, volunteered for “Meals on Wheels” for many years, participated in the SERVE food program and sponsored several children through the Christian Children’s Fund.
