In Taunton, August 14, 2015, Donald F. Fontaine, Age 57 passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his friends. Donald was born in Attleboro, the son of Roger Fontaine and the late Doris U. (Daigle) Fontaine. Donald has lived in Taunton for thirteen years and was the beloved roommate of Lesa Strachan and Kathy Tonry, extended family-including the dogs Bailey & Stoli. Donald attended Attleboro Enterprises Inc. for over 25 years where he had many friends and enjoyed a variety of activities including bowling, painting, bingo, playing the harmonica and his spoons. He was also supported by HMEA, Inc for over 30 years. Donald enjoyed vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard where he loved looking at boats and planes from the porch of the cottage. He enjoyed riding his bike on the very first day of summer and watching his very favorite team, The Boston Red Sox.
Donald is survived by his sister Debra Andrews, & her husband Raymond Andrews, his brother Garey Fontaine, his nephew Derek Andrews and his niece Erin Murray. He was also the brother of the late Roger Jr. and Robert Fontaine.
A Celebration of Donald’s life will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Saturday August 22nd from 12-2. Friends & relatives are invited to attend.
