Agnes A. (Simonis) Tochy, 90, of 328 Greenwood St. died Wednesday, May 11, in the Meadows of Leicester.Her husband George Tochy died in 1984. She leaves two sisters, Mitilda Moran of Long Beach, CA and Veronica Clingan of Sacramento, CA; and several nieces and nephews. A daughter Joyce Tochy died in 1983. She was born in Spencer, daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Adamakja) Simonis and graduated from David Prouty High School.
Agnes worked for the Telecron Company for several years, before retiring, prior to that she worked at the American Steel and Wire Company. She was a member of St. Catherine of Sweden Church.
The funeral will be held Monday, May 16, from LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 3 Wiser Ave. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Monday, May 16, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
