Healy, Virginia F. (Murphy) of Roslindale, August 17, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence B. Healy. Loving mother of Carol A. Selland of Hingham, Virginia Healy-Tangney of North Andover, Geraldine Healy DeLuca and her husband, Leonard F. DeLuca of New York City. Predeceased by loving parents, Joseph and Anna (Bieler) Murphy. Devoted grandmother of Christopher J. Tangney, Patrick L. Tangney, Nicole M. Radulski, Col. Richard J. Harries , Cara A. Plamondon and great grandmother of nine great grandchildren. Dedicated sister of the late Steven, Robert, and Walter Murphy.

Virginia was born in Boston in 1920, graduated from Hyde Park High School, Class of 1937. As an active Sacred Heart parishioner, Virginia served as a Eucharistic Minister and taught CCD. Virginia also worked for the Boston School Committee. She enjoyed the ocean, swimming and tennis.

Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St., West Roxbury on Friday August 21, at 9:00 AM. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church, Roslindale at 10:00 am.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Visiting hours in the funeral home on Thursday August 20, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.

Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Stoughton.
