Obituary

CHAPEL HILL, NC-Judith Anne (Boyle) Anders, 60, formerly of North Grafton died Monday, April 25 in the Durham Regional Hospital, Durham, NC after an illness.

She leaves her husband, Ron Anders; two sons, Mark Anders of N. Grafton and Matthew Anders of Raleigh, NC; a brother, John M. Boyle of N. Grafton; a nephew, Shawn and his wife Rhonda Boyle of Yakima, WA; a niece, Melissa Russell of Fitchburg, MA; 3 grandnieces and a grandnephew. Two sisters, Eleanor and Maryrita predeceased her.

Judy was born and raised in N. Grafton daughter of the late John and Mary (O’Connor) Boyle. She was a graduate of St. Stephen’s High School and Worcester State College.

Judy was a schoolteacher for many years and was presently teaching at Chapel Hill-Carrboro Elementary School in Carrboro, NC where she has taught since 1988. She enjoyed spending her summers at the family home in Dennis Port with her family and friends.

Funeral services and burial were in Chapel Hill, NC. A months mind Mass will be held Thursday, May 26 at 8:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 17 Waterville St., N. Grafton. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester, MA.
