Charles R. Crites, Sr., 82, of Tiverton, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence. He was the husband of the late Mary L. (Helger) Crites.
Born in Reedy, WV, son of the late Edgar and Hazel (McCoy) Crites, he was a longtime resident of Tiverton. A veteran of the Korean War, he served his country in the United States Navy. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a self-employed landscaper. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Visitation will be from 9-10 A.M. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Tiverton.
