Mary Louise (Howley) Roy, 71, of Derry, NH died Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. She was born on December 1, 1943 in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late William and Pauline (Ellingsworth) Howley. Mary was employed for 20 years at Compugraphic in Wilmington, MA and 17 years at Lawrence Maid Footwear in Lawrence, MA. She enjoyed dancing, soft rock music and Christmas time. She also loved the beach and camping at Alton Bay. Mary treasured time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Russell J. Roy of Derry, one son, Russell J. Roy, Jr. of Raymond, NH, three daughters, Barbara Fraser and her husband Brian of Salem, NH, Karen Roy of Phoenix, AZ, Kathy Roy of Derry, five grandchildren, Joseph, Mark and Kristen Fraser, Matthew and Andrew Roy, one brother, John Howley of Pensacola, FL, one sister, Rosemarie Medairos of N. Conway, NH, and several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Tuesday August 18, 2015 from 4 to 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH with a funeral service at 7:00pm.
