Alice M. (McDonald) Riley of Rockland, formerly of Plymouth and Randolph died peacefully with her family by her side on August 14th. She was the beloved wife of the late John Riley. Loving mother of Kathleen LeGrow and her husband Robert of Plymouth and Tiffany Prout-Leitao and her husband Richard Leitao of Plymouth and the late Alice Cole and James Cole. Mother in law of Monique Cole of Carver. Sister of Louise McDonald and her husband Andy Reina of Randolph. Cherished aunt and grandmother of Jaclene, Jade, Shawn, Kylie, Ally, Zachary, Kendall, Faith and great-grandmother of William.
Born in Somerville, MA on November 7, 1943 a daughter of the late John and Marie (Santos) McDonald. Educated in the Randolph Schools and a graduate of Aquinas College in Milton, Alice was a professional singer, singing throughout New England and later went on to sing with the Sweet Adeline’s. She retired as a professional Nanny specializing in multiple births.
Visiting hours in the Davis Funeral Home 619 State Rd. (Rte3A) Plymouth (Manomet) on Tuesday from 4 till 7pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday at 10:00 am in the New Testament Church 1120 Long Pond Road, Plymouth. Private Cremation will follow in Vine Hills Crematory.
