Dragan Zivkovic
Martinez, GA – On the 12th of August, 2015, Mr. Dragan J. Zivkovic left this earth peacefully to go home and be with God.
Dragan was born March 6th, 1938 in the hills of Vojnic, Yugoslavia. After studying mechanical engineering, he ventured out into the world on a fulfilling, lifelong journey that would take him on countless adventures all over the globe.
After settling in Martinez, GA in 1988 with his beautiful bride, Julie, and newborn son, Nikola, Dragan continued to work as a nuclear engineer at the Savannah River Site - devoting his life to making each one of our lives better through the study and application of renewable energy.
Dragan lived life fully each and every day. Those who knew him would describe him as a gentleman and a friend, but most importantly, as a loving and wonderful husband and father.
Family members in addition to his wife Julie of Martinez and son Nikola of Cary, NC are: his sister, Andja Kurija and her husband Marko of Vojnic, Croatia; Danijela and Miroslav Zotovic and their four children of Aiken, SC; close family members in Vojnic, Croatia – Banja Luka, Bosnia – Ruma, Serbia, as well as, dear friends throughout the United States and Europe.
A graveside service will be held Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park.
