Rawert, John H. "Jack", 79, found his eternal peace Monday, August 10, 2015 in Louisville.
He was born to John Sr., and Eleanor (Smith) Rawert.
John retired as a supervisor for DuPont in 1985, a Catholic by faith, a member of Livewires, American Legion, and KY Colonels.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Drusilla; a son, Eddie Rawert; a sister, Peggy Lipps; and a brother, Hilary Rawert.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ima Jean (Otto) Rawert of 15 years; his children, Victoria L. Johnston (Richard), Larry (Nancy), and Kenneth (Anne) Otto; seven grandchildren, Chris and Tommy Johnston, Brandon, Kendra, Christian, Hannah, and Allie Otto; two brothers, Vernon and Norbert Rawert; and a sister, Nancy Seekamp.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 10:00AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Rd.; with burial at Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 12:00-8:00PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
