Brenda R. Roy, 58, of Salem, NH, died Monday August 10, 2015 in her home. She was born in Methuen, MA on December 12, 1956, a daughter of the late Raymond and Yvonne Boucher. Brenda had been a resident of Salem for the past 37 years, formerly living in Methuen. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School in Lawrence, MA, Class of 1974. Brenda had been employed as a waitress for Bob Loo's Chinese Restaurant in Salem. She enjoyed solving jigsaw puzzles, was an avid animal lover, and loved her dog Norton.
She is survived by her husband Richard Roy of Salem; three brothers, Barry Boucher of Pepperell, MA, Bruce Boucher of Lawrence, MA, and Brad Boucher of Hampton, NH; and her aunt, Theresa Jacques of Londonderry, NH.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MSPCA/Angell Att: Kathleen Santry, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
