Karen Wisneski, 65, of Canton, formerly of East Walpole, peacefully passed away on August 7 at her home.
Born in Boston, February 1, 1950, the daughter of the late Alexander V. and Genevieve (Urszulis) Wisneski, Miss Wisneski had lived in Walpole for most of her life prior to moving to Canton 3 years ago.
Having Down Syndrome never stopped Karen from accomplishing things in life. She enjoyed dancing, parties, public speaking and animals, especially her cat John Boy. Her favorite activity was spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her siblings, William J. Wisneski of Westport and Ann Evans of Franklin.
She was the sister of the late Alexander V. Wisneski.
She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews and their families.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 13 in St. Mary’s Church, East Walpole at 10:00a.m.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, South Walpole.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 12, in the Ginley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 892 Main Street, Walpole from 4-7 p.m.
