Christine Marie Kinsey went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 5, 2015. Christine was born and raised in San Pedro, California. There she met and married her first husband Jim Seymer. Together they moved to Prosser, Washington where they raised two daughters. She enjoyed her work as a nurse for over 20 years.
In April of 2000, she married the love of her life Greg Kinsey. She then became a home maker and stay-at-home grandma. She loved being "Nanny" to her five grandchildren. They were her world and they loved her so very much. She leaves them with so many special memories that they will forever hold in their hearts.
Christine enjoyed the simple things in life; gardening, riding horses, taking care of her animals and home. She was an avid believer in Jesus and spent most mornings with her coffee and husband Greg reading the bible and devotional books. She treasured vacations with her husband and spending time with friends. Christine spent many hours on the phone with her daughters, sister and close friends. Not one of those conversations ended without an "I love you".
Christine loved hard and made each person she met feel loved and important. She will be greatly missed but forever in the hearts of those that knew and loved her.
Christine is preceded in death by her mother Lorainne Hefner.
She is survived by her loving husband Greg Kinsey, daughters Amy Buxton and husband Jeff and their children Dylan, Brody and Easton. Stacy Seymer and her boys Levi and Christian Griffiths. Her father Louis Hefner, sisters Karen Summers and husband Don, Lisa Nelson and husband David. Brothers Matt Hefner and wife Angie, Luke Hefner and numerous nieces and nephews.
