Rosario Gelardi, 85 years old, of Revere, died peacefully at his home on August 7th. Born in Sicily, Italy, he is survived by his devoted wife Angelina (Vricella) Gelardi and his son Guy; his daughter-in-law Julie (Golemme) Gelardi and two cherished grandchildren Ellianna and Benett.
The loving brother-in-law to Maria Tierno and her late husband Arsenio, Mafalda and Raffaele Verderese, he is also survived by many of his beloved nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Monday, August 10 from 4 – 8 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, and again on Tuesday morning at 9 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford Street, Somerville, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
