WORCESTER - David W. Nute, 69, of 111 Country Club Blvd. died Monday May 6 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center - University Campus after an illness.
His wife Barbara M. (Beauchemin) Nute died in August of 2000. He leaves a son David W. Nute Jr. of Chelmsford; two daughters Margery Gajewski of Ipswich and Lauri Middleton of Raleigh, NC; a sister Deborah Perruzzi of Gloucester; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Mr. Nute is predeceased by a son Ronald W. Nute who died during the Vietnam War. He was born in Lynn son of George and Reitha (Whitehead) Nute.
He was a member of St. John's Church.
Mr. Nute was a cook for various local hospitals for many years.
A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday May 8 at 12 Noon in St. John's Church. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Church, 40 Temple Street, Worcester, MA 01604.
