Kathleen Ellen “Katie” Arbor, 63, of Londonderry, passed away peacefully August 2, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack following treatment for lung cancer.
She was born in Nashua, NH, May 11, 1952 a daughter of the late William and Phyllis (Noonan) Ryan. She was raised in Nashua and was a graduate of Nashua High School.
As a teenager Katie worked at Nashua Trust Company. She later worked as office manager at Kawasaki East in Nashua for 15 years and more recently as the bookkeeper at National Power Sports.
She loved birds, cake decorating, crocheting and especially spending time with her two grandchildren. She will be remembered most as a loving person who took genuine interest in others and for being amazingly creative with arts and crafts.
She leaves her husband of 38 years, Al Arbor of Londonderry; her son, Christopher Arbor and his wife, Kristine and their son, Caleb of Bedford; her other grandson Eli and his mother, Jackie Hieken and her daughter Zoey; five siblings, Bill Ryan and his wife, Brenda, of North Carolina, Ron Ryan and his wife, Peg, of Nashua, Mike Ryan and his wife, Nancy, of Strafford, NH, Jim Ryan of Nashua, and Lori Macey, her husband Christopher, their daughter Christine and son Chris, all of Alexandria, VA; an aunt, Dotty Mullen and many cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two siblings, Christine Louise Ryan and Jon Joseph Ryan.
Services will be private.
The family would like to extend their many thanks to the staff of the Community Hospice House where she was treated with such loving care.
