DiGIOVANNI, Edward S.- Of Malden, unexpectedly, August 4th. Devoted son of Edward and Christine (DePatto) DiGiovanni of Malden. Beloved brother of Michael C. DiGiovanni of Malden. Loving boyfriend of Ariane DaSilva. Cherished grandson of Marie DePatto-Tassanari of Chelsea and the late Samuel DePatto, George Tassanari, Edward and Antoinetta DiGiovanni. Also lovingly survived by many aunt's, uncle's, cousins, nieces, nephews as well as his dog, Noah. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Mass celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 315 Main St., Malden on Tuesday morning, August 11th at 10 o'clock. (Please meet directly at Church). Visiting Hours will be held in the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, MALDEN on Monday from 5-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
Brn in Boston and a lifelong Malden resident, Edward passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. A graduate of Malden High School Class of 2010, during his years there, he was involved in the basketball and football programs. For the last 4 years, he has been involved with the families business, Hub Foods, located in Chelsea.
